The fingers are the busiest parts of our body. We use them in almost everything that we do, from preparing out food to eating it. But what do we do when they get injured and become too week to do their work? Using finger splints can be very helpful. They can help stabilize the fingers, especially if they are injured or arthritic. Some splints are designed to give support to the finger so that the dislocated joints will return to their normal position and begin to heal. Others are used to keep the injured fingers immobile so that further damage could be prevented. Still others are used to keep fingers from jamming or sticking to each other. Aside from splints, there are also therapeutic gloves that keep away the arthritic fingers from plain sight. They are usually ugly and make the hands look like those of a beast. Wearing the gloves also protect the fingers from further injuries.
